So Halloween came and went and I need to post my pretty little ballerina. Loya Jeanne absolutely loves to dance. She goes to ballet twice a week, and spends the rest of her free time perfecting her pliés and passés.

She requested to be a ballerina for Halloween and mom had to go all out. Her's the pictures. Enjoy!

Today was Loya's first day of Pre-school. She is only 2 and a half, but with me wrapping up my Bachelor's this year, it seemed like a good use of her time. You could say, the whole family is in school.

She is not totally potty trained so this is going to be a little interesting. I hope it all works out and maybe she will follow the lead of her best friend Marlee and use the potty more often.

She has been so much fun! She loves to sing and dance and play dress up. She is such a girly girl, that it is a mother's dream. I'm thinking ballet lessons are going to come sooner than expected.

I love the picture of her with her brothers this morning. She was so excited to put a backpack on and head out the door.

First House Sold!

I'm so excited to finally update my blog. I got my Real Estate license and started with ERA Brokers Consolidated back in May. I've had great success with my own Real Estate investments and I knew I would be great at helping others find the right home. In addition it has given me the flexibility that I have needed as a busy mamma.

That being said, I had the privilege of listing Nate and Ashley Wild's home in June. It was so adorable. Ashley and Nate had put a lot of time and work into it and it definitely paid off. We had a full price offer the very first day it was listed! It fell through over financing and that's when I kicked it into over drive. I researched the top twenty buyer agents for their price bracket and I marketed specifically to them. I actually went out and met with them in person and by the end of the week we had a better offer. It came in over 99% of the asking price, CASH, no appraisal. My Seller's were able to gross $2000 more than the original offer and we closed in less than a month.

Crazy New Year!

So everyone has new year resolutions....or atleast aspirations for what the new year can bring. As I get older these seem to get simpler. I actually want to keep some of my goals.

So to start, I'm drinking more water. They say one simple change has compounding effects. Hopefully this one change will steer my diet and health towards cleaner eating....without having to suffer much. I also have made a point to make myself a green smoothie every morning....wow I am already on day three and I am so impressed with myself. This is huge strides for me since I prefer a Coke as my beverage of choice.

My final resolution is to read one chapter of scripture with my children every night. We go to church every week, but I've not made much effort to be apart of my children's religious understanding and I want that to change this year.

I am still in school...4.0 last semester! And I am working on my real estate license, so my list needs to stay short. I also work partime at a restaurant ....so I am busy! But I thought I would start this blog to kind of track my year. Hopefully it can help other busy moms prioritize and get a ton done.
